Now with the option of Select Fire kiln controllers, Amaco High-Fire Top-Loading Electric Kilns are ideal for firing stoneware and porcelain. Kiln exteriors are constructed of welded steel, with a heat and rust-resistant finish to boot.

HF-101 - A medium capacity top-loading floor model, The HF-101 is well-suited for large classrooms and studios. This ceramic kiln offers a 18" x 18" x 27" (5.06 cubic foot) firing chamber capacity featuring 4-1/2" of combined fire brick and block insulation for greater firing efficiency and lower radiant temperature making it extremely safe for school use. Strong 1/8" welded steel back frames, 11 gauge welded steel front frames, 18 gauge steel shells mean unsurpassed durability. A spring-balanced, refractory-backed lid rests on ceramic fiber rope encircling the chamber for minimum heat loss, a perfect seal, and effortless opening and closing. Spring latches allow lid to adjust to chamber expansion as temperature changes inside during firing. Top-quality Kanthal 14 gauge element wires are securely housed within deeply recessed grooves in firing chamber walls which can be removed easily. The HF-101 is available with Select Fire computer control or with Kiln-Sitter and Limit Timer plus Pyrometer. A 4 lb. box of Amaco Kiln Shelf Wash is included. Overall external dimensions are 42"W x 29-5/8"D x 40-1/2"H.

HF-105 - A large capacity top-loading floor model, The HF-105 is well-suited for large classrooms and studios. This ceramic kiln offers a 30" x 20" x 24" (8.33 cubic foot) firing chamber capacity firing chamber capacity featuring 5" of combined fire brick and block insulation for greater firing efficiency and lower radiant temperature making it extremely safe for school use. Strong 1/8" welded steel back frames, 11 gauge welded steel front frames, 18 gauge steel shells mean unsurpassed durability. A spring-balanced, refractory-backed lid rests on ceramic fiber rope encircling the chamber for minimum heat loss, a perfect seal, and effortless opening and closing. Spring latches allow lid to adjust to chamber expansion as temperature changes inside during firing. Triple Phase vs Single Phase - Phase refers to the number of current-carrying wires supplying electrical current to the location. Single-Phase has 2 live wires and 1 ground wire and is common in residential buildings. Three-Phase has 3 live wires and one ground wire, and is usually found only in businesses and institutions, such as schools. Always consult a licensed electrician before installing a high power electric kiln.

Note - Kiln should be vented to the outside using the Amaco Master KilnVent or Suspended KilnVent and up to 60 feet of 4" diameter duct material-galvanized furnace ducting, flexible aluminum ducting or PVC (maximum four 90 degrees turns). Kiln must be 18" from any wall. Do not place kiln on flammable surfaces or near flammable materials.
