The Potter's Choice glaze series was designed with the potter in mind! These stunning glazes add fluid colors and effects to smooth or textured ware. They are made for anyone who would like to achieve the Cone 10 reduction effects without having to have a reduction gas kiln or firing at that high temperature.
Albany Slip Brown - Like the traditional potter's glaze that inspired it, Albany Slip Brown is fluid and butter colored where thick and russet where thin. Great layered over or under other Potter's Choice glazes.
For optimal results, these lead-free glazes are fired at Cone 5-6 (2205ºF-2269ºF, 1207ºC-1243ºC) in an oxidation kiln. Amaco Potter's Choice Glazes are supplied in ready-to-use form in pint or gallon containers.
