Amaco Potter's Choice Glaze - Temmoku, PC-30, Pint

Amaco Potter's Choice Glazes were designed for anyone who would like to achieve the Cone 10 reduction effects in an electric kiln without having to have a reduction gas kiln or firing at that high temperature. These stunning glazes add fluid colors and effects to smooth or textured ware, and can be layered with each other for a wide variety of colors and surfaces.

Every glaze, except for Palladium, is dinnerware and food safe, and every color conforms to ASTM D-4236 standards. These glazes can be brushed on in layers or dipped. For optimal results, these lead-free glazes are fired at Cone 5-6 (2205ºF-2269ºF, 1207ºC-1243ºC) in an oxidation kiln. Amaco Potter's Choice Glazes are ready-to-use right out of the jar, just shake well.

Temmoku - Temmoku is a textured, satin-matte dark brown/tan speckled glaze that looks great layered beneath some of the more fluid Potter's Choice glazes. With its consistent surface and reliable results, this glaze makes a fantastic liner for cups, pots, bowls, and other ware.
