Discover a fresh approach to mixing dynamic color by mingling and charging them on paper rather than mixing them on your palette. The technique is fast, with no layering or glazing necessary. Anne provides an image for each day’s subject, however you are encouraged to bring your own image for each day. Anne demonstrates and paints along with you, and all levels of experience are welcome. Monday’s topic will be boats/water/aged wood. Tuesday’s will be Still life/cut crystal/tulips/stamped backgrounds. Wednesday’s will be figures/faces/skin/hair/fabric folds. Thursday’s will be florals/petals/peonies, and Friday will be focused on taking the ordinary and making it extraordinary with composition and photographing the subject. Please bring your camera and photos of potential paintings. Come join a fun filled, project orientated workshop, and be prepared to go home jazzed and inspired to paint.
