Arches Bright White Watercolor Paper is mould-made without brighteners or bleaches. The pulp is brighter than the original Arches Natural White Watercolor Sheet, thus showing colors more intensely from the surface. The cylinder-mould machine ensures that fibers are not closely aligned but are randomly oriented and densely interwoven in all directions, adding considerable strength to the paper and producing a natural,-ﾠattractively textured surface, with the look and feel of a vintage hand-made paper.
Each sheet is acid-free, pH-neutral, gelatin-sized, and air-dried. Sheets have two natural deckle edges and are watermarked and embossed.
Arches-ﾠpapers are built on the knowledge and experience of yesterday's craftsmen, combined with modern innovation, creating important new features and improvements in the paper's performance. If stored and handled properly, they will remain beautiful and vibrant for centuries without conservation and manufactured from pure durable cotton fiber.
