Understanding color and value will set you on the path to success, and learning to let the water do the work will make it fun. Debi will demonstrate easy techniques and a step-by-step approach that lets even beginners produce professional results. Working from photos, Debi will go from basic washes to finishing details. Texturing, fixing mistakes, and glowing darks will be covered, with tips on the creative process. Morning and afternoons begin with a demonstration, followed by individual instruction for every student.

Debi is a self-taught artist, bringing a fresh voice to watercolor painting. Her unique realistic images have been included in over 80 juried exhibitions and won numerous awards. Debi’s paintings and articles have been in a dozen national magazines and included in ‘Splash 9”. She is an artist in/or Signature Member of many art groups and is active in several organizations in her home state of Pennsylvania. Debi has been teaching for five years. www.debiwatson.com
