Tara has been living and creating art in the Blue Ridge Mountains for the past 20 years. She grew up in Minnesota of Scandinavian descent and attended college there. She now also holds a Creative Arts Degree from UNC Charlotte. Her art has been in numerous exhibitions, receiving awards, and is a part of both private and public collections. Tara divides her time between teaching drawing and pottery at her Trade, TN studio as well as teaching painting at Cheap Joe’s. She creates her own personal expressions in clay, pastel, colored pencil and paint.
