Frank has been a professional artist since 1976. Watercolors came to the forefront of his attention in 1983. His liquid style is uniquely distinctive. Frank enjoys working on a very wet surface, letting the pure color mix itself on the paper. He has taught numerous watercolor workshops throughout the US and Canada, and is a Signature member of the National Watercolor Society, Transparent Watercolor Society of America, and others. He has been published in many prominent art magazines over the years, and has served as a judge in many juried exhibitions throughout the nation. Frank has also won several awards with his paintings, including taking 2nd prize in the Artist’s Magazine’s 2001 art competition, out of 11,800 entries.
