Golden Fluid Acrylics are acceptable alternatives. If you choose to go this route, please substitute Golden's Transparent Red Iron Oxide for the Burnt Seinna and Golden's Jenkins Green for the Hooker's Green Deep.
Brushes :
If you already have favorite synthetic fiber brushes, you may substitute them. Do not use your good sable watercolor brushes for acrylics. Brand names are only suggestions.

Something to Paint On :
Arches 140 # or 300#, Cold Pressed Watercolor Paper (Each participant will probably need no more than two sheets, cut into 1/4 sheet size)
2 gesso primed canvas or canvas board (small, no larger than 16: x 20")
1 gesso primed panel (no larger than 16" x 20"). This panel can be masonite or any relatively smooth surface other than watercolor paper canvas. A piece or canvas. A piece of smooth mat board works well.
