This popular workshop will focus on watercolor technique. Learn to paint beautiful transparent colors (with no mud), deep rich backgrounds, reflections, light, shadows, and realistic details. Painting skin, feathers, glass, silver, and stone will be covered. Each day you will paint along with Anne as she covers a different subject. You will work from photographic images that will be provided to you by the instructor, prior to the workshop. There will be many demonstrations, lots of one-on-one instruction, and painting time.

Anne Abgott

Anne was born in Canada, and is now a US citizen with studios in Florida and North Carolina. She is the author of the best-selling book, Daring Color, by Northlight Publications. She teaches at "ArtCenter Manatee" in Bradenton, Florida, where she is Chair of Education and Exhibitions. Anne is a past president of the Florida Watercolor Society, and has been the winner of the Rattner Gold Award from the Florida Watercolor Society, and the Winsor & Newton Award from the National Watercolor Society. She teaches workshops all over the US and Canada.
