Joseph's workshops are very simple: It has to go from his head to your head. After 25 years of teaching, he has found the best way to learn is to give many small demos on such topics as: how colors work, how to mix colors, how moisture levels make colors move, and how to put a painting together with knowledge. Each student needs to ask hundreds of questions, so they are not frustrated when they paint! Joe will provide several projects to work on that are designed so that each student will make fast progress. There will be many demos, individual attention, and lots of quiet painting time in this workshop.

Joseph Fettingis

Joseph is a signature member of the National Watercolor Society, and is one of the most sought after painters, instructors, demonstrators, photographers, and judges in the country. His workshops sell out everywhere! He has been the cover story of "American Artist", "International Artist", and "Palette Talk" magazines. He has been featured in the books: Splash 6, Painting Color, and The Best of Watercolors 2, as well as many newspaper articles throughout the USA, Canada and Puerto Rico. Joseph has been painting watercolors for over 35 years and has been teaching workshops nationally and in Canada for over 20 years. He was born in Germany, grew up in South America, and worked as an illustrator and designer in Chicago, IL.
