Simply put, the French Connection is a lightweight and compact clamping device that attaches to either side of any French Box Easel drawer to provide additional working space for the artist. It will support a palette, water container, arrays of pastels, and any other common painting paraphernalia that are awkward to hold or to balance on the small drawer of a typical easel. Additional working space can be created by attaching two separate French Connection® units to the easel drawer.
