 Holbein has formulated a superior quality soft pastel with a special unique characteristic - these pastels are also water-soluble. Not only are these pastel chalks workable in every way that a regular soft pastel can be used, you may also blend and create watercolor-like washes with a brush and water. You can create startlingly beautiful effects and be assured that you are getting some of the finest pastels available anywhere as part of your pastel art supplies. The watersoluble pastels are available in two different sizes. The Jumbo sticks are similar in size to standard sticks of artist pastel. The small sticks are similar to a half stick pastel. The Jumbo Sticks measure 3" x 5/8'', the Small Sticks measure 1" x 3/8''.
