Filberts are traditionally a oil paint brush shape but with the wonderful synthetic filament in each Expressions brush they perform well for use with watercolor or acrylic. Filberts have a longer bristle but a round tip much like the end of a oval. They can help artists create a wide variety of brush strokes with just one brush in hand.
