Wallis Pastel Papers have incredible tooth! The grit they use is slightly softer than diamonds, (9 on MOHS scale) which contributes to the remarkably durable surface. Professional Grade — A double primed sanded paper with a coating of white aluminum oxide grit on a ph neutral 240 gm/sq meter card stock. Acid-Free. Exceeds quality of most premium pastel papers. Museum Grade — Given an extra coat of primer (without abrasive) on the front and on the back to help prevent curl due to humidity changes. Made from 100% cotton rag. (Acid-Free) 300 gm/sq meter. Museum grade is most suitable for wet media due to its rag content and extra primer coatings. Meets Library of Congress standards for permanence.
