Holbein Artists' Oil Pastels are the culmination of over 50 years of research, development and manufacturing expertise in the oil pastel field. The manufacturing process is entirely automated. Each stick offers uniformity of color distribution and they handle evenly and clearly without stickiness. Once down, they provide excellent surface stability. Because of the wax content highly refined mineral oil, they will never harden completely. A versatile medium whether used by the pastelist for finished art work or the water or oil colorist for sketching convenience. These pastels feel and move like a fine chalk pastel. Easy to handle, blend and clean. Will not readily break or crumble and may be used on virtually any surface.
Pastels are packaged with five assorted color sticks in a plastic case. Cases are arranged in a cardboard box. Individual pastels measure 3/8" square and 2-3/4" long. This Oil Pastel Set contains 15 assorted colors.
