Allerair 5000 DXV Exec Carbon Filter - Replace carbon filter every 2-5* yrs (depends on chemical or odor levels) For artists, this could be significantly less depending. A good idea of when to replace carbon filters is if odors are stronger then they once were it most likely means that the carbon filter is saturated. Please note that Carbon spoils after 5 years, but is usually saturated after 2 1/2 years maximum. So carbon filters can last 5 years, but they will not be very effective. Instructions included.
