Crescent Watercolor Board provides the convenience of an extra-thick, stable board that eliminates the need for stretching and mounting of watercolor paper. These watercolor boards feature a 100% cotton rag, heavy weight surface, acid-free paper mounted to an extra heavy weight 40 ply backing board. Uniform surface sizing and internal sizing provides maximum durability for wet-on-wet techniques, reworking and erasing. The heavy 100% rag surface paper allows greater penetration of sizing for maximum durability under erasing or reworking conditions. It’s an easy choice when you are looking for a new painting surface for your art supply. Available in hot press and cold press surfaces with standard grey core. Note: The board underneath is not acid-free.
