Frank Webb lives in Pittsburgh, PA, and has been a professional artist since 1948. He is a Dolphin Fellow and a vice president of the American Watercolor Society. He also holds membership in several other art organizations and is listed in “Who’s Who in American Art”, and “Who’s Who in the East”. In addition to the three books that he has authored, he has conducted workshops in 50 states and many countries and won over 90 major awards. Going beyond the usual technical display of watercolor, Webb’s paintings express his interest in the creative concept and design principles. Since in his own words, “Painting is more caught than taught,” he stresses the importance of seeing, feeling, and responding to possibilities while synthesizing realism with abstractionism. Frank covers a broad spectrum of subjects beyond traditional landscapes.
