Fredrix Gallery Wrap Pre-Stretched Canvas is a line of stretched canvas with the professional artist in mind. Each art canvas is made from pure cotton duck canvas with a medium tooth. The acrylic primed surface resists deterioration because of an acid-free sizing. This surface is ideal for work with traditional oil paint, watersoluble oils, alkyds or acrylic. This treated canvas is mounted to double thick heavy-duty stretcher strips that measure 1 ½" thick. These artist canvases are stapled on the back, which leaves the sides available for continuing your composition or for painting with a solid so you can skip the frame.
