The best watercolor support ever made by Robert P. Armas on 10/15/2010

This is the 1/2 sheet size watercolor board to staple,tape or clamp your paper prior to painting. Very lightweight,strong and waterproof.Can be used with wet paper to stretch it prior to painting to prevent buckling.You can do it using brown Kraft paper gummed tape or using a stapler gun.If you use heavy paper(300 gr)or work in small or medium size papers(11"x15" or 15"x22" or similar sizes)and don't do big wet-in-wet work or big washes,or work in small areas as a time(as I do)you will find yourself more comfortable using common 1.5" masking tape or medium size binder clips or gator clips.Less hassle and less waste of paper. The brown version is more appealing since it will hide pencil or colors smudges better and will give you more sense of perspective and composition when the paper is positioned on it. Will stand years of use and abuse without a problem.Even the repeated stapling won't be an issue. So easy to use that you can carry it around in a tote bag or small messenger bag(the 16"x12" size) to paint anywhere and can be used even in your lap.
