The Moleskine Reporter Style Pocket Notebooks are a terrific addition to the classic hardcover Moleskine Journal line of books, offering a style inspired by the journalistic tradition. The Reporter notebook has a hard cover that flips opens at the top, characteristic of reporter's notebooks. Like the classic, black Moleskine Journals, the Reporter Notebooks are made with a durable thread-bound binding, acid-free paper and the now famous black 'moleskine' textured cover. The only difference between the Reporter and a traditional Moleskine is the location of the binding at the top of the book. Thus, the elastic closure, which helps keeps the book closed when not in use, is located at the bottom of the book (about 1" from the base). In addition, the expandable accordion inner pocket inside the back cover is oriented vertically, (opening is 3-1/2"). Each book includes a short history of the legendary Moleskine notebook (printed in English, Italian, French, Spanish, German and Japanese) found inserted inside the back cover of the book. Moleskine journals are made in Italy. Weighs 5 oz.
