The Logan 650 Framer's Edge is loaded with great features. A newly designed support arm mounting block better secures the support arms to the laminate board surface for a stronger hinge and less flex, extending the life of the tool. Now included with each of the Framer's Edge models is a flush cut non-scaled squaring arm for smaller jobs that don't require the full 27" squaring arm. The mat guide has also been improved with new large quick release knobs. The movable stop foot overcut adjustment now features a knob for faster adjustment. A micro-adjustment overcut screw has recently been added to the rear of the cutting head.
Heavy-duty construction, rich features, and an attractive look make the Framer's Edge the preferred system for framers and serious artists. Handles high production mat cutting as well as small projects. A non-stick coated cutting bar provides smooth cutting and needs no lubrication. Parallel mat guide slides smoothly in aluminum channels and enables quick, accurate border measurements up to 5-1/4" (13.33 cm.). Fully scaled 27" (68.58 cm.) squaring arm holds mats perfectly square. Base is 3/4" (1.9 cm.) composite board surfaced with durable, easy to clean laminate. Includes production stops, 10 extra blades, dual straight and bevel cutting heads (Both of these matcutting heads use the Logan Model 269 replacement blades). The Logan 650 Framer's Edge also comes with a fully illustrated mat cutting manual a free instructional DVD and to assist in 8-ply mat board jobs, a pack of special 8-ply cutting blades have been added free of charge.
The Logan Framer's Edge Straight Cutter an automatic lock-down pin holds blade in cutting position, comfortable ergonomic handle and a 3 position depth adjustment.
The Logan Framer's Edge Bevel Cutter now features an easy to use thumb knob for more comfortable usage over long periods of usage. Also a "start" and "stop" indicator, 8" (20.32 cm.) movable production stop lets you cut all sides without readjusting stops or marking mat and a comfortable ergonomic handle.
