Each art palette has 32 wells, and the lid and tray are interchangeable depending upon which type of paint you are using. For painting with acrylics, use the paper palette sheets and sponge to keep acrylics or other water-based media moist and ready to use. For use with watercolors, remove the sheets and the sponge inside and just use the palette surface with separate wells around the perimeter. The inverted lid can be used as an additional, larger mixing area. Each paint palette measures 15-1/2'' long, 11- 1/2'' wide, 1-3/4'' deep.
