To make it easier and more affordable for the artist to possess the WINDMILL®, capability the revolutionary WINDMILL® easel also comes as a standalone unit. The easel attaches, via fasteners or Velcro style straps, to horizontal and vertical surfaces such as worktables and walls. It also attaches to many large and sturdy traditional easels. Like the Studio version, the WINDMILL® 60 manually revolves a canvas a full 360° facilitating the artist’s most productive drawing, brush or palette knife stroke, providing the artist a new dimension in creativity. The unique brackets used to hold the canvas to the easel provide the option of either complete surface exposure, or complete edge exposure. These features of the revolving WINDMILL® enhance accessibility to the artwork, bringing the artwork to the artist. They ease artist fatigue and make this easel ideal for physically challenged artists. The WINDMILL® 60 travels well outdoors and readily attach to trees, fence-posts or other external surfaces. When the WINDMILL® is attached to other large studio easels, and when using particularly large canvases, we recommend the use of extra counterweight. The construction of The WINDMILL® 60 is from beautiful satin lacquer finished birch laminate.
The WINDMILL® 60 holds square canvases up to 60” x 60”, rectangular canvases from 8” x 10” to 76” x 36”, round and oval canvases.
