Price Park consists of 3,900 acres of recreation area. It was originally purchased by Julian Price in the 1930's as a vacation spot for his employees. It was donated to the Blue Ridge Parkway in 1946 after Julian's unexpected death.
Price Park has picnic grouds, nature walks, an outdoor ampitheatre, and hiking trails.
