This workshop will feature the vivid, versatile, and non-toxic medium of colored pencil.  With plenty of studio demonstrations and access to a generous supply of sample materials, you will explore a wide range of colored pencils and enhancing techniques.  Color-layering, line impression, texturizing, burnishing, buffing, color-lifting, highlighting, and clear-marker blending.  In addition to traditional colored pencils, watercolor pencils will also be featured.  Learn techniques and surprising hints for their creative use, either alone, or in combination with traditional colored pencils.  You will also explore the use of colored pencils on a wide range of surfaces:  bristol board, colored pastel papers, multi-medium art board, and watercolor paper.
