The Watercolor Wheel was designed to assist artists in mixing watercolors and to help achieve color harmonies.
Combining twelve popular watercolor paint colors (Phthalo Green, Violet Rose, Cadmium Yellow, Cadmium Red, Process (Hansa) Yellow, Cobalt Blue, Permanent Rose, Phthalo Blue, Paynes Grey, Burnt Umber, Orange and Yellow Ochre), the Watercolor Wheel shows 144 different color combinations. The mixtures were created with actual watercolors painted on real watercolor paper.
The Watercolor Wheel also includes a value scale a glossary of 20 key terms and definitions and detailed instructions.
