Luminescent Oil Colors by Daniel Smith simulate a glittery surface or the luster of mother-of-pearl. They're made from mica pigment, thin transparent particles coated with highly reflective metal oxides. Luminescents add intriguing complexity and visual depth to your artwork, along with a consistent all-over gleam or effect to color.
Interference Silver - In mass tone, on light surfaces, Interference Silver is a shimmering buff color, with a slight cool metallic cast. When Interference Silver is thinned with a medium and painted over darker colors it transforms into a transparent shimmer of pearly buff or pearly silver depending on the angle.
