Fabriano Artistico Traditional White Watercolor Paper is a natural warm white made without the use of any chemical brighteners or bleaches. It's mould-made from 100% cotton, is chorine- and acid-free, and is internally and externally sized with a plant-based synthetic, vegan-friendly sizing. The enhanced quality sizing offers increased surface resistance to handle the toughest scrubbing and scraping, improved color lifting, and consistent texture and absorbency.

Each sheet has two natural deckled edges and two cut edges, with a running watermark. Not just for watercolor, it's suitable for all water media, charcoal and pastel, graphite and other drawing media, printmaking, and even digital printing.

Artistico watercolor paper is manufactured at a world renown historic mill located in the north central region of Italy that dates back to the mid-13th century.

Rough Press - Rough finish paper has an effect close to that of handmade paper, with a strongly pronounced tooth that naturally shows lots of texture in painting and highlights the effects of granulating colors. It's ideally suited for bold, expressive techniques rather than detail. Rough Press is also recommended for acrylics, pastel, and charcoal.
