Gamblin Artists' Oil Colors are luscious, intense, pigment-rich colors that do not succumb to age. Gamblin oil paint colors are true to historic working properties in a palette carefully constructed by Robert Gamblin.

Gamblin Artists Colors Company is dedicated to oil painting. Since 1980, Robert Gamblin has formulated traditional linseed oil paints in his factory in Portland, Oregon.

For over twenty years, Gamblin has invested in the best quality production machinery that transforms the finest quality pigments and oils into luscious, rich artist oil paints. By personally controlling quality standards for his oil painting materials and their distribution, Robert Gamblin has earned his reputation as America's premiere colorman.

Rather than copying any other paint-making style, Robert Gamblin developed his own. Gamblin Oil Paints are made from the finest raw materials and invite artists to enjoy each color's unique tinting strength, transparency and texture.

Gamblin is committed to being a leader in developing more thoughtful and sustainable designs. All 37 ml oil color tubes are comprised of 100% post-consumer recycled aluminum. Gamblin's goal is to include 150 ml tubes in the future and a push to use 100% PCR across all packaging. Each tube contains color information with a QR tag for quick access to color swatches.

Radiant Red - Using Gamblin Radiant tints, painters may build traditional under paintings, then glaze for optical effects of light and shade - enabling painters of today to explore a technique of the past. Using tints (pure color + white), painters may make the brightest paintings. Using shade [pure color + black], painters may make deep, luminous paintings, accenting with white and tints. Using tone [pure color + white + black], painters may build paintings by value of pure light tints and grey.
