Grumbacher Max Artists' Oil Paint, Naples Yellow, cleans up with soap and water, which means there's no need for harsh, toxic solvents. A soft yellow with a peachy bias, Naples Yellow is an extremely old color dating into 16th century BC, and was a favorite among the Old Masters. Traditionally used in landscape where a receding yellow is required. Also incorporated in flesh tones. Formulated from Calcined iron oxide, Concentrated Cadmium Seleno-Sulfide, Cadmium Zinc sulfide co-precipitated with Barium Sulfate lithopone (Pbr7, PR108, PY35, PW5).
