Jacquard Methocel is a synthetic alternative to Carrageenan that provides a viscous surface for marbling on fabric and paper. It may also be used as a marbling medium.
Stir approximately 1 oz. of methocel into 1 gallon of water at room temperature. Stir in 1 teaspoon of clear household ammonia. Let stand 15-20 minutes and stir again. It is now ready for use.
Note: Keep dyes, paints and chemicals away from children. Avoid unnecessary personal contact. Do not take internally.
