Iridescent, Pearl, and Interference Acrylics

Iridescent, Pearl, and Interference Acrylic Colors allow the artist to add shimmering or reflective characteristics to a painting. Iridescent Acrylic paints are also known as metallic paints that mimic the effect of bronzing powders. Iridescent paints do not tarnish unlike bronzing powders which cannot be used with acrylic emulsions due to the alkalinity of the binder. Interference Paints are colorless, transparent paints made from titanium coated mica flakes rather than traditional pigments. Used in both fine arts and crafts.
