In "Step-By-Step Children’s Portraits" popular artist and workshop instructor Suzanna Winton takes us from start to finished portrait in just two hours. Her charm compliments her teaching style in a well organized series of dynamically illustrated steps.
Using watercolor as her medium, each chapter’s lesson is easy to understand and always to the point. From arranging her color palettes and filling in the background to the portraits finishing touches, this lesson is suitable for painters of all skill levels.
Suzanna Winton has been studying and painting faces since 1994, when she began her studies at the Florida Art Center. Her paintings capture the personality and "Human" history of each of her carefully chosen subjects. Suzanna has pursued art with a passion since she was seven years old. She credits her mother, Kay Cromartie, a successful professional artist and High School Art Teacher, as the most significant influence on her career. Since 1993, she has specialized in the watercolor medium and practices her skills on a daily basis. She is presently pursuing an ongoing series that expresses the character of people through the texture and expressions of their faces.
