In this art workshop, internationally renowned artist, Sterling Edwards, will show you how to create a watercolor painting that stands out from the crowd. Intended for the intermediate to advanced student, the art class will cover a wide variety of watercolor painting techniques and subjects. Learn how to create energy in your painting with a balance of positive and negative shapes, how to build rich values, save white paper, and how to use expressive color and stylized shapes, just to name a few. You’ll also learn many ways to create drama in your paintings with expressive brushwork and balancing hard and soft edges. If you’re ready to take your painting to new levels and push the boundaries of your creative side, then this is one art workshop that you won’t want to miss. See for yourself why Sterling Edwards is one of the most sought after art workshop instructors in the U.S.
