After 30 years as a watercolorist Tom Lynch realized that he needed more than a plastic palette. He wanted a sturdier palette that would resist slipping and sliding, so he designed his very own porcelain palette.
The Tom Lynch Porcelain palette prevents beading and separating watercolors. The design of this palette is similar to that of his original palette with a 12" x 16" surface. Each palette has 19 wells, a large mixing area and 2 areas for holding brushes, includes a form-fitted plastic cover and weighs about 7 lbs. The porcelain surface prolongs moisture of paint and makes cleanup a breeze.
This palette is intended for studio use because the weight is not conducive to travel but any serious artist would love having this palette in their collection.
