Each exhibition booth space will be 10’x10’ with one 8’ table and two chairs included. 8’ tall piping drape will hang behind the booth for vendor signage. All tables will be covered and skirted in black.
This year’s show colors are teal, yellow and pink. The arena will be decorated in these colors.
What is expected of the vendors?
- Vendors are responsible for the setup and breakdown of their booths. Cheap Joe’s employees will not be available to help with these procedures. If you are unable to breakdown your booth, Cheap Joe’s will arrange for it to be done for a breakdown fee of $250.00. This agreement must be made in writing before the end of the show.
- Sell at your price, but please remember that the Trade Show is your opportunity to sell direct to the public. Bring your own pricing guns or have the merchandise pre-priced.
- Please work up show specials for your booth, as all advertising will include mention of “show only” specials. Samples, freebies and handouts are also appreciated by the visitors.
- You are invited to send a door prize for the show. All prizes will be displayed with a card showing the name of the company and the value. Door prizes should be sent to Heather by May 16, 2008 and please include the value of the item.
Please ship all door prizes to:
Cheap Joe’s Art Stuff
Attn: Heather Young

Boone, NC 28607
- It is MANDATORY for each vendor to provide a professional sign for the booth. The sign should be a minimum of 4’ x 2’ and a maximum of 8’ x 4’ per 10’ x 10’ booth and must be ready to hang on the piping drape behind the booth. The sign must be visible to visitors. If you do not have a sign, Cheap Joe’s will have one made for you ($150.00 – Early Registration; $275.00 – Late Registration). Please indicate on the Booth Request Form whether you will require a sign, otherwise, we will have your sign made and bill your company at the appropriate rate
- All requests for extra tables, power and Internet connections must be received by May 2, 2008, as the Holmes Center must have sufficient time to arrange for these special requests. Requests made after May 2, 2008 cannot be honored.
- Please let Cheap Joe’s know if you will have an artist for your booth. Cheap Joe’s will provide fresh water and dirty water disposal containers for all artists. The Holmes Center asks that the restrooms not be used for paint water disposal
- Vendors are invited at advertise in the Trade Show program. Quarter, half and full-page ad spaces are available. Each visitor receives a program upon entering the show, and these ads are a great way to get potential customers to your booth. Discounted Early Registration ads are due by April 4th. The final date for ads is May 2nd. Ads received after May 2nd cannot be honored due to publication deadlines. All ads should be emailed to heather@cheapjoes.com as high-resolution jpeg images. All ads will be published in black & white and will include a banner with your booth number. Please indicate on the booth request form which ad you would like to reserve.
- Vendor parking will be in designated areas only. ASU campus police regulate parking at and around the Holmes Center, and if you are not parked in your designated area, expect your car to be towed. Vendor parking on Friday, June 20th will be at the Hill Lot, up Hill Street behind the Holmes Center. A shuttle will run on Friday, June 20th from the Vendor parking area to the Holmes Center. Vendor parking on Saturday, June 21st will be in the John Thomas Lot adjacent to the Holmes Center
- Outside food and drink is not permitted in the Holmes Center on Saturday, June 21st. If Homes Center staff sees you bringing in outside food and drink, they will ask that it be disposed of prior to entering the building. Food vendors will be open in the Holmes Center beginning at 9:00 AM.
- Due to safety concerns, we ask that vendors not bring children
- Animals, other than service animals, are not permitted in the Holmes Center.
What are the setup and breakdown procedures for the show?
After parking, Vendors should enter through the loading/unloading area and must report to the Registration Table between 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM to sign in.
Set-up will begin Friday, June 20th at 8:00 AM and end at 5:00 PM. All vendors must be off Holmes Center property by 5:30 PM.
Vendors bringing their own merchandise will have use of the Holmes Center’s loading dock. Please report to the unloading area upon arrival. Cheap Joe’s representatives will be available to instruct you where to park while unloading. Because the unloading area is shared by all, we ask that you unload your materials onto one of the provided carts and then move your car to the designated parking area. Cheap Joe’s will be happy to watch your materials while you are parking.
All materials to be saved should be packed away under your table for storage during the show. Anything left on the floor in the aisles will be considered trash and will be removed. Over-night security will be provided Friday night at the Holmes Center.
On Friday, June 20th, we will have a MANDATORY meeting at the Holmes Center with all vendors at 3:00 PM. At that time, we will discuss the Show and sales procedures.
Breakdown will begin at 5:00 PM, immediately following the show. We ask that you do not start packing up your booth until after 5:00 PM.
What are the sales procedures for the show?
All vendors are expected to be at their booths at 8:00 AM on Saturday, June 21st. Although the doors are scheduled to open at 9:00 AM, customer demand may necessitate that the doors open at 8:30 AM.
Vendors are responsible for their own pricing and sales. Please bring your own cash boxes, registers and credit card machines.
We have tried to anticipate your need, but if there is something you need help with, please let us know in advance. Thank you for your participation and continued support.
