American Journey Artists' Watercolor Sticks mix wonderfully with any other waterbased media out there.

Each American Journey Artists' Watercolor Stick measures 3-1/2" x 1/2". Watercolor Stick Sets come with white plastic palette trays that feature slots to hold the watercolor sticks securely, as well as an individual well per stick and two large mixing wells per tray. The palette trays also stack neatly for storage.

Each watercolor stick is dipped in a single layer of water-soluble paraffin wax for protection during transit and to protect your hands while working. To remove this thin outer layer of wax, rub the stick surface on a scrap piece of paper, or wash the stick with warm water, similar to removing paraffin wax from an apple. The tip of the watercolor sticks are ready for use out of the box.
