Who are Schink and Lawrence? Christopher Schink and Skip Lawrence, contributors to The New Palette Magazine, are nationally recognized artists and teachers. Both are authors of popular watercolor instruction books "Painting Shadow and Light in Watercolor" (Northlight) by Lawrence; "Color and Light for the Watercolor Painter (Watson-Guptill) by Schink. They have been conducting painting workshops for over 25 years and have taught in over 45 states in the US as well as in Canada, Mexico, and Europe.
