Quick Overview
For more than two centuries, amateur and accomplished artists have found a great freedom of expression by using Conté Crayons.
Conté Crayons are unique for drawing and sketching and are an ideal pastel for creating paintings with brilliant contrasting shades that combine large flat areas and precise colored lines. Conté Crayons offer accurate and energetic strokes when the edges of the sticks are used, and artists may produce flat areas by using the flat of the crayon to create the values.
Waxier and firmer than soft pastels, Conté Crayons produce very little dust and are easy to control. Ideal for newsprint, bristol, toned paper and more.
Each crayon measures 2-1/2" long x 1/4" square.
Set of 48 Assorted Colors - This crayon set includes one each of Bistre, Black, Blue, Blue Green, Cyclamen, Dark Green, Dark Grey, Dark Ultramarine, Emerald Green, Flesh, Garnet Red, Golden Yellow, Grey Green, Indian Yellow, Lemon Yellow, Light Blue, Light Green, Light Grey, Light Orange, Lilac, Lime, Madder, Mineral Green, Naples Yellow, Natural Sienna, Natural Umber, Olive Green, Orange, Payne's Grey, Persian Violet, Pink, Prussian Blue, Prussian Green, Purple, Red, Red Brown, Red Earth, Red Lead, Scarlet, Sepia, Sky Blue, St. Michael Green, Ultramarine Blue, Umber, Violet, White, Yellow and Yellow Ochre.
