Truly high quality at an affordable price! Fluid Watercolor Paper is crafted in a European mill which produced its first paper stock in 1618. The mill masters craft small batches at slow speeds allowing for finer control of quality. This slow approach produces a sheet of great strength that shares much of the working integrity of more expensive mould-made papers.
Each Fluid Watercolor Paper Easy-Block contains 15 sheets of 140 lb. cold pressed paper with a soft white color. The paper is internally and externally sized. Made from high quality alpha-cellulose, it carries the Certified Permanent Paper seal which ensures it's acid-free and archival. Available in a range of sizes, including squares!
Paint directly on the top sheet in the block and the glue along the two long edges will hold the sheet flat as you paint. When your painting is dry, slide a dull knife or letter opener in the open side under the top sheet. Release the glue along one edge and pull your painting free.
Cold Press - This lightly textured paper surface is the most popular finish for watercolor paintings. It reflects light well, retaining the transparent quality of watercolors. The light tooth makes it easier to achieve certain details, while the slightly rougher texture shows off granulating colors beautifully. Not limited to watercolors, it's also recommended for gouache, acrylic, airbrush, graphite, pastels, and charcoal. A versatile paper texture.
