Grumbacher Pre-tested Professional Oil Paint, Rose Madder Hue, is made with pure pigments milled in alkali-refined linseed oil. Rose Madder Hue is a different Hue of Alizarin than Grumbacher's Alizarin Crimson. This transparent cool pink-red, emulates the original color extracted from the madder root. This oil paint is highly fugitive and should not be used in works that will be exposed to intense light or sunshine. Formulated from Arylide Yellow (PY3) and Dihydroxy Anthraquinone Lake (PR83).
