Masterson Sta-Wet Palette Seal and Accessories

Save paint, time, and money using the Masterson Palette Seal. The airtight container safely holds any type of paint palette between sessions and keeps paints fresh for up to weeks at a time. 

For Use with Oils -For oil paints, place your favorite type of palette (wood, glass, plastic, or paper) into the Palette Seal tray and snap on the lid. Your paints will stay fresh for many days, even weeks, when sealed in the airtight Masterson Palette Seal. New Wave Artist Palettes, produced by New Wave Art, are designed to fit within the Masterson Palette Seal.

For Use with Acrylics -For acrylics and other water-based paints, use the Masterson Sta-Wet Premier Acrylic Paper and Sponge (sold separately). The Masterson Sta-Wet Sponge, when moistened and combined with the Masterson Sta-Wet Acrylic Palette Paper, maintains a moist environment inside the Artist Palette Seal. You will be able to use your paints for weeks when stored in the Masterson Palette Seal.

Please note that a palette is not included in the Artist Palette Seal. New Wave Artist Palettes are compatible and sold separately. Made in the USA of tough yet lightweight plastic, the Masterson Sta-Wet Palette Seal measures 16" x 12" x 1-3/4".

Acrylic Paper -Masterson Sta-Wet Super Pro Palette Acrylic Paper keeps acrylics and other water-soluble paints moist and workable for days and even weeks by evenly distributing moisture from the Sta-Wet Sponge to your paints. The paper is permeable, cleanable, and reusable. Use the Sta-Wet Acrylic Palette Paper in combination with a Masterson Sta-Wet Sponge (not included) to provide proper moisture to the paper. Please note that traditional palette paper does not provide the same moisture-wicking effect but does the opposite by creating a barrier that locks out moisture. Traditional palette paper cannot be used with the Sta-Wet system. 30 Sheets per pack.

Sponge Refill Pack - Designed to fit in the Masterson Sta-Wet Premier Palette, these sponges will keep water-soluble paints moist during and between painting sessions for days and even weeks. The cellulose sponge evenly and effectively transfers moisture to the Sta-Wet Acrylic Palette Paper, ultimately extending the life of your paints. The cellulose material provides the absorption level required for the Sta-Wet system and is environmentally friendly. Use the Sta-Wet Sponge in combination with Masterson Sta-Wet Premier Palette Acrylic Paper to achieve an even distribution of moisture to your paints. Wet the sponge and place it in the tray of your Masterson Sta-Wet Premier Palette. Lay the Premier Palette Acrylic Paper on top of the sponge. The paper will absorb the moisture, maintaining the workability of the paints. Please follow all Sta-Wet Sponge preparation directions provided to extend the use of your sponge. 3 Sponges per pack.
