R&F Pigment Sticks are essentially oil paint in a convenient drawing stick form, allowing artists the freedom to draw directly onto a surface without the interference of brushes, paint tubes, or solvents. Pigment Sticks can be thinned and manipulated with solvents, brushes, and palette knives, and can be layered with traditional oil paints and mediums. Blending Sticks and Blending Medium can be used to increase transparency and blend colors together on the painting. Use Pigment Sticks on any support designed for oil or encaustic painting.

Sap Green - The original Sap Green, dating back to medieval times, was a watercolor pigment made from buckthorn berries, mixed with alum into a thick, sap-like syrup. Like the original, this color has a dark earthy mass tone and a rich yellow-green undertone.
