R&F Pigment Sticks, Beginner 3 Color Set

Quick Overview

R&F Pigment Sticks are essentially oil paint in a convenient drawing stick form, allowing artists the freedom to draw directly onto a surface without the interference of brushes, paint tubes, or solvents. Pigment Sticks can be thinned and manipulated with solvents, brushes, and palette knives, and can be layered with traditional oil paints and mediums. Blending Sticks and Blending Medium can be used to increase transparency and blend colors together on the painting. Use Pigment Sticks on any support designed for oil or encaustic painting.
R&F Pigment Sticks are made in small batches, carefully milled and molded with the highest quality natural wax, linseed oil, and pure pigments. The result is a high pigment load, professional quality oil stick with no additives or fillers, and a lipstick soft consistency. Pigment Sticks cure to a hard, durable surface just like oil paints.
Pigment Sticks are very portable, ideal for plein air painting. They can also be used alongside encaustic paints, and are perfect for monoprint printmaking.
