Description

Speedball Diazo Photo Screen Printing Emulsions are used in a two part process that coats the screen in a light sensitive barrier and when properly exposed to a light source, creates the highest detail possible in your screen. They offer a variety of techniques including printing of fine line drawings, various hand and commercial lettering, as well as photographic half-tone positives. These photo emulsions produce effective results when used with water or solvent-based inks and may only be used on polyester screen fabrics.

Diazo Photo Emulsion #4579 - The Speedball Diazo Photo Emulsion #4579 must be mixed well with a 2 oz. bottle of Speedball Diazo Sensitizer #4578 to activate and begin the screen printing process. Diazo Photo Emulsion #4579 has a 3-year shelf life unmixed. Available in a 26.4 oz. jar.

Note - Speedball Diazo Sensitizer is required in order to use the Speedball Diazo Photo Emulsion correctly. Speedball recommends using the full 2 oz. with the 26.4 oz. Emulsion. The shelf life for the sensitized emulsion is four weeks at 90ºF (32ºC), eight weeks at 70ºF (21ºC), or four months if refrigerated.
