Tom Lynch Online Workshop: Painting a Mountain Landscape - June 19-20, 2024

In this new 2-part online evening workshop with Master Artist, Tom Lynch, you will learn & practice new watercolor techniques and the principles for a finished work of art. His format is great for those that want to learn in a step-by-step manner. You’ll receive a comprehensive amount of information that will be a great foundation for applying to your future paintings. Tom will provide the photo reference, preliminary sketch, lesson guides, video tips & techniques, and even color photos. You may paint from your own composition or use one of several provided. At the end of the workshop, you will have a beautiful, finished painting!

In the 1st evening session, you will paint different parts of the scene, with Tom, on separate sheets of paper. He will teach you step-by-step, how to paint mountains, trees, forest, skies, clouds, water, and so much more, in several ways, without the pressure of a finished painting. In the 2nd evening session, you will put all the parts together in a new effort, and learn about focal point, value change, unity, design, color harmony and more.

The focus of this class is to learn while doing and Tom is a master teacher to help you accomplish that. Join Tom for a fun workshop where he uses his 3-camera format with great close ups so you can see each step in great detail. He will answer all your questions and show other examples from his studio.

This 6 hour class will be divided into 2 evening sessions on Wednesday and Thursday, June 19th & 20th, 6—9pm, Eastern time. All demos will be recorded so you can watch again when the workshop is over. The videos will be available, along with email assistance from Tom, for 3 WEEKS, following the workshop. This class is for beginners (with basic watercolor skills), and up.
