Lavender Retouch Varnish - This oil painting varnish is a ready-made retouch varnish that is a diluted, thinner version of the Lavender Damar Varnish. Use as a temporary protective layer on your painting while in process. Retouch varnish can be painted over. It's made with natural Damar resin dissolved in Lavender Spike Oil Essence. Because it's not made with turpentine, it doesn't cause the chronic health effects associated with the inhalation of fumes from turpentine or mineral spirits.
