Each palette has a special sealing ring that locks in moisture to create a barrier from leakage, making it an ideal choice for the traveling artist. The interior features a generous arrangement of slanted mixing wells, an uninterrupted lid for additional mixing, and a separate tray fitted into the top lid, which can be removed for easy clean-up.

The outer case is richly finished, and as with all Mijello watercolor palettes, there is no color discrepancy between palette and paper.
